Aimed Alliance has joined The Alliance to Save America's 340B Program (ASAP 340B) to further strengthen the coalition dedicated to introducing necessary reform into the 340B program. While originally designed to help safety-net providers serve low-income and uninsured patients, the program now requires transparency and accountability measures to fulfill its founding mission.
“Committed to empowering patients to make informed healthcare decisions, Aimed Alliance recognizes that 340B reform is essential to ensuring patients are benefiting from this important safety-net program,” said Ashira Vantrees, Director of Legal Strategy and Advocacy at Aimed Alliance. “We are thrilled to join ASAP 340B and continue to support patient-centered reform to the 340B program.”
Aimed Alliance is a non-profit organization that advocates for meaningful reform within the healthcare system that directly benefit patients, caregivers, and providers, and will be joining a coalition of over 40 members fighting for 340B reform.
“The addition of Aimed Alliance expands ASAP 340B's reach and impact,” said Thomas Johnson, Executive Director of ASAP 340B. “Staffed by a team of attorneys, Aimed Alliance brings a unique patient-first perspective with a deep understanding of the statutory requirements of the 340B program, which is essential to ensuring the 340B program serves those it was designed to help.”
